Dear Sis:
We are on our way east. We left El Paso at one o’clock yesterday afternoon. We will be in San Antonio about noon today, but I don’t know where we will go from there. Will write you in a day or two. Excuse this writing as we are running about 50 per [looks like “per” as in “miles per hour”] and the road is a little rough. Write soon.
